Program Description

Event Details

This will be the first in a monthly gardening series that will be held from April through October, presenting what is important to know about vegetable and herb gardening each month. A pair of experienced gardeners will be present at each session to provide direction and garden wisdom, plus Q&A time. Some sessions will be hands-on, others more information-focused. Whether you wish to plant in the ground, in raised beds, or containers—you will learn a lot!

Topics for this session include:

  • understanding the space and light you're working with
  • planning and prepping your garden
  • choosing plants; companion plants

No cost, no need to register, come to all or as many sessions as you are available! John Joseph Coffee is donating coffee (and the grounds!) for our conversations. Please contact Shirley Kelter at the library for more information, 608-643-8346.

This program is for adults.
